VINTAGE CAMO JACKET
Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE a camouflage jacket.
I’ve owned many iterations of the jacket style over the years, from a traditional khaki/brown/black colour way, to a cropped faded style and even a lilac and cream version (which I regretfully sold!)
It’s funny how a print that was originally created to conceal and protect soldiers from being visible to the enemy, became the ultimate stand-out print! For me, camo is actually a neutral, and will never go out of style.
This beauty was kindly gifted to me by the lovely Cat, founder of Cats Eyes Vintage. It’s a great stand alone piece, but it’s versatile in that it’s light enough to be worn as a shirt and perfect for layering once the temperatures cool down. Some may call what I described as a ‘shacked’…I won’t.
Here I styled it with my Ksubi leopard jeans, a Helmut Lang t-shirt, Dorateymur boots and my ultimate go-to bag; the black Telfar tote in medium.
